Well I again tried the convert on my win 7 machine. At the top it stated that it is fat32 and will be fat32 Using the format with f: /q /fs:ntfs at the top of the screen it reads fat32 the next line states that it will be ntfs It then asked for a new name. I assume that I have to let it run most of the night to complete. Probably 2 days when I do his 2tb drive
