I am having a somewhat similar issue but only with Jaws 14. I get my
newspapers as a html file from talking newspapers and use firefox to read
them.
I have firefox version 21 here which crashes every time I try to open up the
newspaper with Jaws 14. The bizarre thing is that Jaws 10

Hi Tom,
You can also creat hotkeys to open folders drives but, you need to have
created a shortcut for the folder or drive on the desktop or in the start
menu. Creating shortcuts is a whole different animal. In Windows7 there's
a thing called pinning items to the task bar which works great
