Hello all, Both my Wife and Myself are using the latest Version of Jaws
Windows 7 Office 2010 etc. The Authorization key stroke insert J and A works
on Her Desk top machine and my Laptop, however on my desktop it does not.
Any ideas why this could be? Is there a hidden setting somewhere.

One thing to try: Make your keyboard layout is set to US and not UK or
other.

Sometimes this stuff gets changes without us knowing.
Don't know who to blame; microsoft / telstra / the dark side of the moon.

Not an issue. On the desktop where Insert+j, a doesn't yield the info,
instead alt-tab to the JAWS window and then press alt+h, a. On that
desktop you have JAWS set to run from the taskbar
Like stated before keyboard has no effect on this problem. The reason
why is if you buy a computer in the USA. Then everything install to
English by default. Jaws will go with defaults on install unless changed.
All insert + j does is bring jaws window to front and give focus. Now
if that
That key combo only opens up the jaws about box for me. It tells you
how many you got left, but that is not how to activate jaws.

Hi Thanks, all is now working well, and I am surprised to find I still
have
two Authorizations left.
