I'm using Windows 7 and Jaws 12 latest build. I was on the ITunes site, trying to open a dropdown menu in order to update my credit card information. I used the standard Alt Down Arrow and nothing would happen. Fortunately, I was transferred to the Apple Accessibility Desk and Owen was able to help me use a mouse to reach the same display. When I pressed the left mouse button, the dropdown opened, Jaws identified it and I was able to check the appropriate choice. He was watching the activity on my screen with some kind of technology they have. here's my question on this problem. When you open a dropdown menu, is that the correct command for Jaws 12? SECOND ISSUE: This happens primarily on my laptop. I am typing an e-mail message like this one and I stop for a moment. When I begin again, the newly typed information ends up inserted in a line where I did not want it to be. What in Heaven's name could be causing that to happen? Come to think of it, I might be brushing the mouse pad on this thing and changing the position of the Applications pointer. I'm perfectly happy to disable that thing if someone can tell me how to do it. I'm the only one who ever uses this machine.
