Re: [JAWS-Users] New keystroke
Jim, thanks for this keystroke. I'm not usually on a bunch of different windows at home, but I am at work and this will work much better than continually hitting shift and tab to get to the right one. If you press, Ctrl + Alt + Tab, and then use the right and left Arrow keys to see all the open windows on your computer, press Enter on the window you want to have focus, you will land in that window. This is fantastic, of course, you can ALT+Tab to the window you want as well. I like learning new keystrokes for different situations. Re: [JAWS-Users] New keystroke
Hi Al, you are welcome. I like to share many keystrokes for doing the same task, that way a blind computer user, can choose, what keystroke works better for them. In W-10, pressing Windows key+Tab, brings up a list of open windows as well, use your right arrow key, press enter on the window you want to gain focus. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Al Sorrentino Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2017 2:34 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] New keystroke Hi Everyone, I am usually afraid to try any thing new when it comes to using my computer. Re: [JAWS-Users] New keystroke
The difference with the Windows key with tab key is that the listed items are only programs that are opened and minimized. Pinned items to the taskbar are not included when using the quick view button in Windows 10. Windows key with T shows you minimized programs and items that have been pinned to the taskbar. Take care. If you are like me, there may be times where you have six or more windows opened at the same time on your computer. Hello Mike the key stroke was found in windows 10 anniversary update using jaws 18 so he said that he was not sure if it would work with anything earlier than that. -Original Message- From: Mike B.
