Re: [JAWS-Users] an accessible translation programme that works with jaws?
I've used both Google translate and Bing translate successfully, and, while they work, the translation is ...well, um, sometimes *very* strange, LOL! I am using Windows 7 ultima with JAWS 14. Shoshana For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

First of all what language do you speak? Second of all my recommendation would be WWW dotbabelfissh.com although people have argued that it is not a good translation what language are you trying to translate Sent from my iPhone On Apr 8, 2015, at 1:43 PM, randy tijerina rtijeri...@satx.rr.com wrote: hi friends.Randy here...i'd like to ask what's a good accessible language translation programme i can use with jaws? i got jaws16 and windows 7 home edition 64-bit...if that will help? i'd appreciate it. Re: [JAWS-Users] an accessible translation programme that works with jaws?
You might want to check out www.oxforddictionaries.com. The site is operated by arguably the best dictionary, thesaurus etc. outfit in the biz. I picked up a reference to the site when I entered a word for translation on google.com. I don't use the site for long translations, but I imagine that the service would accommodate more than a word or a phrase. I would trust the OED over any other dictionary, especially for word origin, so I imagine that their translation work is of high quality. http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/words/about-odo On 4/8/2015 3:52 PM, Joeylamperis wrote: First of all what language do you speak? Re: [JAWS-Users] an accessible translation programme that works with jaws?
If you're looking for Spanish, ProZ.com has a good translation tool. I own an interpreting agency and often refer to this and a couple of other sites that I can't recall offhand at the moment. Microsoft Word even does a decent job depending on what you want to translate. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Jim Pursley Sent: Wednesday, April 08, 2015 12:11 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] an accessible translation programme that works with jaws?
