Just unload JAWS and restart it or reboot your computer. All that using the /default flag does is to load JAWS using only the files in the shared files folder, bypassing anything you've modified. To do the repair, put the 7.0 CD into your hard drive and allow it to autostart and select repair.

Okay, that's almost certainly your problem. As I've said before, never, never, never run JAWS Merge. It causes more problems than it saves. What you should do is copy your .jdf files (using CTRL+C) directly from the 7.0 user files folder to the 7.10 user files folder and let it go at that.
