Hi Yall, Is there any rhyme or reason why sometimes when alt-tabbing from one app to another jaws will say something like task switching and other times it just says the application? Wondering if I'm doing something I'm not aware of over here for it to say this? Thanksya, Hailley

I had that problem with Jaws back on version 4.51. I was told to go to the folders through the control panel and on the view page make sure that show files/folders is not on. I don't claim this will work but it's that way still on this computer and I'm using jaws 7.10 just a thought.. Hailley

I need advice please if I installed the jaws scripts into the correct version of jaws which I put them into 7.10 and am wondering if I should have placed them into jaws 7.0? When I ran the program I kept loosing the window I could route jaws to read but just doing the say line I would hear

That's interesting I've never heard of your particular problem and I use Office 2000... About the only thing I've had issues with concerning Word and with Jaws on any version was with Norton's plug in on the micellaneous tab that has to be unchecked or otherwise jaws seems to not work
