[JAWS-Users] Re: Text converter for websites

2007-02-07 Thread joe harcz

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I have moderate skills but having been
surfing the web for years. I've had one local web site (a city one) that I
just could never get passed the home page. Never knew precisely what the
problem was, just that I couldn't access it.

Anyway I used this site and was able to get all the links and in seconds!

Again the problem with this particular site was not so much that links
beyond the home page weren't accessible but that the home page itself was.
So now I can get through the front door so to speak.

Now I wonder were this wonderful resource came from and why don't cities and
others use it as a development tool?

Anyway again many, many many thanks!

This is very exciting for a person who is not a super techee but one who is
just a user and one who wishes to have maximine access to information!

It is great!

Peace,
Joe

 Hi All,

I got this website from another list and I just tried a couple web sites
 to
see how it works. This link will take you to a web page and then using
JAWS, press the letter F to go to the first form field and then type in
your web site and then tab to go and this will bring up your web site as
 text only.

2007-02-07 Thread joe harcz

Glad to do so, post that is David. Frankly I've been a bit overwhelmed
lately with lots of other things, access being just one of them...Smile...

But I do greatly appreciate the efforts of all on this list even if I cannot
always possibily thank each and evryone of you all for your contributions to
my understanding.

Frankly, this is one of the only lists that I lurk upon for the most
part...Smile...

Anyway back to lurking and learning. And again thanks to all for
contributions large and small.
