Hi Alan;

It sounds like you might need to change the language in OE options. Do
the

following to see if this helps.
1. While in Outlook Express press control, shift, + O, to open the OE
options.
2. Control + tab to the spelling page / tab.
3. tab to the language combo box, it's around 6 tabs. Arrow up or down
until English, United States, is highlighted. Now, tab to apply, press
spacebar, tab to okay, press enter.
Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

 Dear Friends,

My Spell Checker in Outlook Express is acting really weird after I
installed Office 2007

It wants to capitalize each word, and some words that are perfectly
correct it wants to change, for example why it wants to change to wh!

I think I remember seeing something regarding this about a year or so
ago,

but I am not sure.

Any one remember that thread, and what was the final conclusion?

The Spell checker is working fine in Word, and set to automatic.

But is completely useless in Outlook Express.

I am using XP-Home, and JAWS 11, and now have Office 2007 installed.

 Thanks for any help!

 With Best Regards,
 Alan

  Alan,
Microsoft Office 2007 does not support Outlookk Express, and the spell
checker it uses there is in French. You'll need to get another spell
checker for english in Outlook Express if you use one there.
