jBASE 4.1.5.17 on Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)

2009-04-18 Thread Thiot
I am trying to install jBASE 4.1.5.17 on a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 server. This is a new server with very little loaded on it at this point. jdiag works fine as well as jLicClient. The License and Slim servers are both running but I think that I have some sort of permissions/security issues

Just to let everyone know, this problem was answered off-list by jBASE support. Thank you Mike! The resolution was permissions on the c:\jbase4 directory tree. I added modify permissions and now at least I can execute jBASE programs. On to getting my compiler setup. Thanks again. Dick Thiot

As far as I know, support for 64 bit installs is not due till jBase 5.X which is due in 20XX Be great to know if you find a way to get to run. -Original Message- From: jBASE@googlegroups.com [mailto:jb...@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Thiot Sent: Saturday, April 18, 2009 12:58 PM
