We have an old jbase 4.1 install running RHEL 9. The machine where it lives is dieing, so we want to scoot it over to another machine. The new machine is CentOS 6.5, and things *seem* like they moved over ok, but it seems that the licensing is not happy. The hostnames are the same. Hard

Our vendor set this thing up a long time ago and he is pretty much out of the picture. I think he lost interest. We are under no support contract. My organization might not be averse to paying for some support if it comes to that, although there is a chance we will be able to get our vendor to

That error message indicates that the new server is looking for a license key. On a 4.1 system the license is stored in '$JBCRELEASEDIR/config/' and is named 'key.lic'. If the new machine has exactly the same name as the old one, as given by 'uname -n', then moving that file from the old system to
