Yeah - Sorry !
I went to bed leaving it uploading - and my ISP thoughtfully dropped my
connection. Now I'm up thinking about crawling into a shower and uploading
again..
Hang in there,

Why not use the logging mbean? That would abstract out the logging
facility, so that you can use the Log4J logging mbean or some other logging
facility in the future. Of course, maybe that's exactly what you're asking
for.
I agree that stdout is not acceptable over the long run. Go for it!
Can you try this:
1. Solution 1
Add a toString to your PK (hack entitypk.j).
Also put your Cache size very high.
And your overager periods very high as well.
2. Solution 2.
Set your cache size to 1/1 (min/max)
Let us know please.
Vincent.

Hi! Problem 1 solved by you Vincent - that was the missing toString() method in the PK
class (Should that really matter, why are JBoss using it in the cache?).
Problem 2 was no problem, it was the old EJBDoclet passivate bug. The erroneous
component was not regenerated with a corrected

Hey Vincent,
glad you solved your problems, and that was not a cache problem ;)
Do you mind to send an email to jboss-user (since I guess many there use
ejbdoclet, have seen the cache has problems and are not subscribed to
jboss-dev) briefly explaining what you have found ?
Many thanks

done.
I shout no bug in the cache.

damn, where are the errors/failures... I guess I could look at lubega.com.
How do you run these tests? Do you cvs up -Pd clean/build both jboss and
jbosstest?
The jmsra test failure looks like all of the reads timed out... damn. I
will try this again (and again), but I think it runs clean
Or has that changed?

JBoss daily test results

See http://lubega.com for full
I can now run the tests over and over on the same vm instance and it works
with zero errors/failures each time. I tried looking at the lubega.com
logs, but the seem to be offline (or perhaps they moved).

Looks like the server did not startup correctly... you might need to kill -9
your java processes. =(
