Hi,
It seems that your source files are not processed because you have a too restrictive
fileset.
You can also try to launch the generated XDoclet build file with Ant and set the
verbose switch to see what happens.

perhaps anyone could give me a hint what i have to do if i want both interfaces - not
just remote (if i declare only remote it works)?
i so far:
- added localinterface to ejbdoclet
- added localhomeinterface to ejbdoclet

Hi,
Before-After: There is more about this in another post somewhere in this thread, but
basically interception in JBoss AOP is both before and after.
Example:
| public class MyInterceptor implements Interceptor
| {
|public String getName() { return MyInterceptor; }

Hi,
Will JBOSS will provide good framework for SOA like BEALogic provide?
According to this forum in JBOSS 4.0 will not use JBoss.NEt and will intrdouce
jws4ee.
Can I expect this will provide facility to developer go for SOA.

Hi all
During weekend heavilly developed (what? later :) ) with JBossAOP.
Question by the code:
package my.demo;

Hi,
Another separate topic after work at weekend.
I need my objects to be serialized. I also need to introduce Identificable
implementation to every of them, to give them OID. I did this by introducing
IdentificableMixin:
| public class IdentificableMixin...
| {
| private Long oid;
Yes, I did find the Wiki last night some time after posting my original message.
Thank you for providing the samples - following those examples I did finally manage to
get my bean working with Jboss.
However, I believe the issue with library locations is not addressed in the Wiki.

Oops, that was my mistake. Some of the web sites I found refer to web-services.xml,
when in fact it should be webservices.xml
I notice some stuff for generating WSDL, JAXRPC mappings, webservices.xml, etc, is
starting to appear in Xdoclet CVS. In the meantime, I guess I'll be coding these by

This turned out to be caused by me mistakenly using the servlet-link rather than
ejb-link tag in webservices.xml. Could be detected by a try { } catch { } in
ServiceDeployer.java when doing the class cast.

Hi,
I assume you refer to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Which particular features
(specs) are you looking for. The main focus for JBossWS will be on implementing a
solid jaxrpc stack that is j2ee compliant. Additionally we are looking into the
relevants of some of the WS-* specs to the

Hi Bela,
I am getting this exception all the time I am calling the method.
I know the code is created with the docuemntation we have from jbroups/jboss. But, I
think we did something wrong in config or a different version of jdk or something like
that..

No, it doesn't. You pick up the data because you have another node running.

Thanks a lot.
After going through the documentation, I revisited my deployment to match what had
been speciifed but I still cant get it to work.
First, I created a .aop of my intercepter class (which I verified worked in the
stand-alone mode) :
| $ jar -tvf SimpleAOP.aop

Bela:
Thanks for looking into the issue. I thought that this must be as per design. The way
we use jgroups is that we have a protocol stack created and deployed with multiple
versions of our software. We cannot expect clients to configure jgroups ports, etc
when they deploy our app as our app

From Dimitris:
- The way XMBean persistence is implemented seems to be faulty. When save() is called
the data to be persisted are one step back from the latest update. There maybe some
way to hack around this, otherwise the internal APIs need to be changed, and this may
be a problem.

Two quick questions for you knownledgable types:
One of the reasons to use JBoss.NET WS (from jboss wiki) is
web service access to Stateful Session Beans
so can i assume JBossWS does support stateful session beans??
am i missing the point?
I understand AXIS uses cookies for session managment
