I seem to have sidetracked this build problem, by pulling explode.jar out of
jboss-portal/tools/lib/ and trying the build over again. Of course i ran into a
new issue when i did that one, further down the build. The JavaCC issue, which
seemed to be resolved by changing the format/build.xml file
I am a bit (a lot ?) confused.
What are you trying to do exactly ?
If you are just trying to build JBoss Portal 2.0 alpha i would suggest that you
restart from scratch following the documentation.

I downloaded JBoss Portal tonight, from CVS, and have been trying to get it to
build. Looks like there might be some old nukes references in there still.
Here's the error i get on the build...

the explode class is compiled in a jar in
jboss-portal-2.0/tools/lib/explode.jar normally

I have the same compilation problem days ago, I posted the solution on the
JBossPortal (Nukes 2.0) on JBossAS 4.0.1 topic.
