There is a problem with the java:/DefaultDS not being started in the
current 3.0 codebase. Running either the all or default configs shows
the jboss.jca:service=LocalTxCM,name=hsqldbDS never becoming
fully started:

using the ServiceController.listIncompletelyDeployed managed operation to
find out what was using the previous version. Anyway
