Im getting the same problems while trying to install the JBOSS IDE 1.4 plugin
to my Eclipse 3.0
got the pluggin from the Software update wizard thru eclispse...
same class not loading problem
im working on j2sdk1.4.2_03 on windows 2000 environment

hmm...maybe you have duplicate plugins somewhere ?

maybe the Error Log view show a stack trace which explains why it cannot load
that class ?

Anyway, no! Look what I've done:
1. unpacked eclipse dist
2. entered jbosside.sourceforge.net in update site
3. eclipse downloaded all the packs I've checked (JBoss IDE 1.4.0.)
4. eclipse prompted to restart after installing plugins
5. eclipse restarted
6. Window-Preferences-JBossIDE window
Also, the last line in the .log file looks like
!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.runtime 4 2 Jan 20, 2005 10:25:42.767
!MESSAGE Attempt to activate a disabled plug-in:
org.jboss.ide.eclipse.launcher.ui.
How can I activate the plugin then?
