Something is amiss with your server as these errors are all related to
the JMX connector not being bound in JNDI and I don't see this
problem. When I run the tests I am seeing the same errors as before.

Thanks for the reply. When does that module get used/what does it do? It
seems that I can remove the jar file from lib and my jboss starts up and
works...

And it needs to load from lib not from lib/ext? The reason I am asking is
that it is the only bit of the j2ee replacement jar which we've built which
can't go in lib/ext right now.
Cheers

It seems to me that there is a bug in JNP NamingContext.checkRef() method
Here is when I encounter
BeanA is on host1, JBoss1
BeanB is on host2, JBoss2
BeanA is supposed to call BeanB, so it has an entry in jboss.xml that maps
ejb-refejb/BeanB/ejb-ref
to
Yes, because of how JAAS does classloading it must be in the system classpath.

And it needs to load from lib not
The log4j classes have been in the lib/ext directory for quite a while now
(at least a month) as the Log4jService requires this.
I just pulled down a clean cvs co and built it and the server came up
without any problems. This is at Wed Apr 25 21:47:24 GMT. The
jbosstest suite is running normally
I'll look into it. The jnp url context factory is who is responsible for
creating a context capable of resolving the remote name. I don't
believe the problem is with the current checkRef() logic.
