For these memory sized phones - I would recommend placing a Symbian/Java GUI on the phone and use Jboss as the backend. Thats what I want to do. That's way I say I only want to port some jmx stuff. eg. RMI Remote Proxy server. I don't need transaction or jaas so far. ;-)
