Based on what you explain, this appears to be the issue in the JDK/JRE that you

Hello Everybody,
in our productive enviroment, we running a JBOSS 4.0.5 GA as server and
JRE1.6.0.01 as clients. Since a few days, some clients take a long time for the
first lookup to an EJB. We find out, that for each node in the cluster we takes
down, the first lookup takes 3 seconds fewer.
Do you have isolated classloaders ?
If no, probably you are doing something after deploying this is required to
proper deploy. And on next deploy eg some static variable is on server (it is
the same classloader) and deploying finish successful.

In the client, I just instantiate the client service (DeteccaoPCWSService) and
call It's method.

it's simply a matter of classloading.
If you put files in the WEB-INF/lib dir they will be visible only to the web
application. Good if these lib are only needed by the webapp
On the other hand if you need the jar file for the WHOLE enterprise application
put it in the ear file.

Also I think here is where the problem lies

*-persistence-service.xml files that come with JBoss Messaging and with JBossAS
5.0 all have Clustered set to true and contain clustering information. I
predict that if the *-persistence-service.xml files remain as they are,

JBC3.0 solves this problem much nicely: you are allowd to specify an

Hi,
we're currently installing a JBoss on a sun solaris 10 (sun fire t2000) with a
sun jvm for sparc (1.5.0_16). When we use the 32bit version everything works
fine (even though the jboss boots *very* slow) but when we use the -d64
parameter we run into NoClassDefFoundError's on startup:

we had a glitch in a plugin declaring a bad dependency that is causing the
build to fail - we are working on fixing it ;)
