hxp,
Thanks for your response.
You made some good points - I guess the main issue is to secure what I want from
Nukes by being active in achieving it, within the current code-base. I didn't want to
invest time in Nukes if was going to keep TPL as its preferred templating system ...
To clarify a little more -
the theme is visible to all users in nukes 1.0.0. It's within today's snapshot that
it's accessible to the admin alone.

Hi Sherman,
Yes, I read the page you linked in the other post. If I write a Nukes module it
will prove helpful; I don't want to use tpl.
No, it didn't answer the strategy you guys have for opening up the presentation
layer in Nukes.

Hi,
Are there any sample sites for JBoss Nukes, other than jboss.org? I'd like an
indication of what others are doing with JBoss, visually.
My main point of hesitation in investing more time into Nukes is the JSP and
templating issue. One user has posted an example of using velocity with

Yes,
It'd be helpful if someone could clarify how we can use JSPs in Nukes or in which
module such functionality is to be provided.

Hi,
I documented the steps I followed to install Nukes from the ground up today
here . It'sbasically just a document which follows the pre-existing
InstallUninstallUpgrade page in detail.
Let me know if this is helpful. I imagine it's only really useful for people
wondering about s
Hi,
I've spent around 6-8 hours now messing about with nukes, including writing my own
theme and gaining a cursory understanding of how rendering occurs.
I think it's a really promising project. I walked away thinking a few things,
however:
1. I'd like to learn how to use the template mo
I just ran into this myself.
I think it would be ideal if the one theme would apply to every module?

Hi,
The below is taken from the SeaBreeze theme: can you tell me how ${theme:BGCOLOR1}
is evaluated?

The tutorial at http://jboss.org/developers/projects/nukes/tutorial is out of date.
I've noticed this while working on a theme.
The global constants which the tutorial refers to in the Page class are no longer
present.
For example,
// called after Nukes has invoked the module

Hi,
I want to trial JBoss Nukes for a while with some friends, using the standalone
version. If it's successful, I'll reconfigure and redeploy nukes on another JBoss
server and use mysql.
How can I export the data that is built up within the CMS to another database?

I'm also interested in hearing about this.
