Is there a reason you didn't use the update center to install the plugin?
It would take care of dependencies automatically.
You'll have to give us a lot more information if you want help with your
issue. Post screenshots of your config, etc. Also, check your spam folder.

I am able to upload email-ext.hpi. the issue was missing dependency
