Hi , I am using Email Extension Plugin 2.44.I have configured the body of the message as below emailext ( subject: subject, attachLog: true, compressLog: true, body:'$ {JELLY_SCRIPT, template="html_my"}', recipientProviders: [[$class: 'DevelopersRecipientProvider']], ) when i receive email it shows ${JELLY_SCRIPT, template="html_my"} as the body of my message. I have placed html.jelly template under jenkinshome/email-templates. Please look into this issue

As the values do not match, the jenkinsProject object is null. When the job is persisted, we store the project name. And when the screen to execute the job is called, we scan Jenkins trying to retrieve the object to inject into groovy. Perhaps we could try getting the project name, the moment the user loads the job execution screen. We can start the work now, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to finish the work before the next release. So it will be probably released around September, unless I get some funding to work on this issue from work (not very likely at the moment) But will start working in the next days hopefully with users responding so prompt like you it will be much easier to fix it. And there you configured an axis, say, "country", with values "brazil argentina colombia". The moment you persist the job, by clicking apply or save, Jenkins stores the job configuration with the parameters. The active-choices parameters are persisted with the job name, i.e. "my job". When you click to execute the job with parameter in Jenkins, what the plug-in receives then, are values such as "country=brazil", "country=argentina", and "country=colombia". That's because of the way multi-configuration jobs are created in Jenkins. It was my first time using or debugging the plug-in, so feel free to correct me if anything I say here is not correct. I had to install the multibranch and git plug-ins in my development environment. Then created a very simple job pointing to the active-choices-plugin repository, and with a single parameter. That generated one job for each branch in the GitHub repository (interestingly, after I removed one branch I had to save the project again to sync the local projects). The problem is that when you save a multibranch project, it invokes the project with parameters. At that moment, the active-choices plugin stores the project name, which at that moment contains only the multibranch project name (not its subproject name). Furthermore, the plugin has access to the web request. There it can look for things like form information submitted by the user. There I can see the branches names, which relate to the project names. But there is no clear way to find which of those branches, the current project will be assigned. So it's not easy (not sure if that's doable as well) to retrieve the correct project name. And the reason why the multibranch project name is not displayed, is because it is not a Project Java object, it is a TopLevelItem in Jenkins, that creates Projects (FreeStyleProject or MavenProject from what I understood from quickly sifting through the code base). Rick Liu, if you really want this feature, I suggest we close this issue for projects under a Folder, and then you can create a separate issue for multibranch-multiconfiguration jobs. We are now searching all items in Jenkins, which Java object has class of, or subclass of Project. Would you have some spare minutes to give it a try? Attached you'll find the latest code compiled and built as a plug-in binary. You can run a test Jenkins with java -jar jenkins.war and install the plug-in and other required plug-ins (I never used multibranch-multiconfiguration I think). In case you are running it on a computer with Jenkins, you may want to define a different JENKINS_HOME while testing, so to not override the contents in the current installation. Docker Instance Capacity counted across templates

Hi folks,after some detailed investigations I am quite sure that we have an issue with counting the running slaves on the docker-plugin with multiple templates. Here's how you may reproduce it:# Setup a Jenkins with docker-plugin# Configure a cloud type 'docker', put the Capacity limit to a high value (let's say 50 or so)# Configure two templates: A and B. # Set for template A to accept label A# Set for template B to accept label B# Use the same image (some simple image)# Set instance limit of template A to 5# Set instance limit of template B to 2# Create 10 jobs assigned to label A, implementation "sleep 60"# Create 5 jobs assigned to label B, implementation "sleep 60"# Start all the jobs of label A at once (you may run a small groovy script for that)# Wait 10s# Start all the jobs of label B at once (you may run a small groovy script for that)What you will observe is the following:* The jobs of label A will request new slaves up to the instance limit.* Jobs with label B will remain in the queue. No new slaves are created* The Jobs with label B will be executed, once all the jobs in label A have been completed (and the slaves are taken offline again)If you look into the system log you will read the following messages:{quote}Asked to provision 23 slave(s) for: labelBJul 25, 2016 4:46:52 PM INFO com.nirima.jenkins.plugins.docker.DockerCloud provisionWill provision 'image', for label: 'labelB', in cloud: 'docker'Jul 25, 2016 4:46:52 PM INFO com.nirima.jenkins.plugins.docker.DockerCloud addProvisionedSlaveNot Provisioning 'labelB'. Instance limit of '2' reached on server 'docker'{quote}Please note that during that error message, not a single slave of the second template was up and running (however, 5 of the first template were up).Repeat the same activity with setting the instance limit of template B to 6. Repeat the same kind of load. You will observe that exactly *one* slave of template B will be created. Alas: The instance limits of two different templates are not counted separately (which is what the configuration UI suggests) .Impact: Though capacity is available on the docker server, the different loads are not executed in parallel. PS: I also tried to configure a second cloud provider (of type docker), thus separating the templates into two sections. However, this did not change the situation either: Apparently, the "instances used" are counted per URL and not per template...Thanks for checking!

Title: Message Title Vivek Pandey commented on JENKINS-36209 Re: Queued items should show on the activity tab Tom FENNELLY We gave it a thought and it was decided not to use due to the fact that queue id != build id, this means using it as run id is not user friendly. So to call /pipelines/:id/runs/:id with queue id, someone has to know this id which is unique jenkins instance wide. There is also performance implication, unlike build id which has O(1) look up cost, queue id is not indexed and is expensive for lookups iteration. In our meeting on this with Kohsuke Kawaguchi we concluded not to use it as run id for these reasons.
