Title: Message Title Joshua Edwards commented on JENKINS-28088 Re: Support Using Proxy Hey, Alex - the attached Patch should fix the issue. I'm still waiting (and hoping) for it to get integrated into an upcoming release. Title: Message Title Joshua Edwards commented on JENKINS-28088 Re: Support Using Proxy Ah. In order to use the patch, you will have to download the code. From there, the patch is a diff file for you to apply, and then build the code. Sorry that it's not pre-built. (That's why I'd like it to be in the next release - so it's much easier to use.) [JIRA] [jenkins-cloudformation] (JENKINS-28088) Support Using Proxy
Title: Message Title Joshua Edwards updated an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-28088 Support Using Proxy Hey, Matt - It looks like we had the same issue and solved it differently. I didn't see your JIRA due to the default filter going to cloudformation-plugin instead of jenkins-cloudformation. Anyway, I looked over your solution, and it looks like we came up with basically the same thing. One caveat - does yours work in Hudson as well? I know that's probably not a primary concern since this is a Jenkins plugin, but my team uses it in Hudson, so I've tested my solution in both Hudson and Jenkins. Now that I've found this JIRA, I'm going to close out mine as a duplicate. [JIRA] [jenkins-cloudformation] (JENKINS-28241) Connect to AWS Using Configured Proxy Settings
Title: Message Title Joshua Edwards created an issue Jenkins / JENKINS-28241 Connect to AWS Using Configured Proxy Settings Issue Type: Improvement Assignee: Unassigned Components: jenkins-cloudformation Created: 05/May/15 4:09 PM Priority: Major Reporter: Joshua Edwards When trying to run this plugin behind a proxy, it will fail, because it won't be able to connect to AWS. Jenkins (and Hudson) already have settings that allow them to connect using a proxy to download plugin updates, etc. I would like this plugin to automatically use those settings to connect to AWS, if they are configured.
