 hi [~andrewsumner], just forget previous comments , below is my final requirement and what I need now regarding this issue:  * I had use upack cli command line tool for package my artifacts as a universal package .upack file.  But when I'm uploading upack file into proget site by using the upack "push" command its still giving the 504 error and stopping the Jenkinspipeline. Any idea how to skip this 504 error from the Jenkinsfile?  * When I'm using upack "push"  command in my powershell scripts its skipping the 504 error and keep building the project. But when I'm using upack "push" command in-side Jenkinsfile only it's stopping the build.  So now I want to know is how to continue building the job with this 504 error in Jenkinsfile?  because I prefer to use upack "push" command inside my Jenkinsfile rather than inside powershell script.Any ideas [~andrewsumner]?Thanks, Jenkins Customer South AsiaAmila

 i Hi Mr   [~andrewsumner] it's seems like uploading my JenkinsPackage.upack package file including .7z file inside into the Proget site.  It's actually uploaded. But after uploading Jenkins gives  504: Gateway Time-out error message and existing my Jenkins build job with that error.  Please see below screenshots. actually my artifact uploaded to proget correctly but its taking more than 5 minutes to upload to the proget site and {color:#ff}that's where I'm getting the 504 error{color}. Because I noticed even after I got the Jenkins Console output error I have to wait another 5 minutes to get the uploaded file in Proget site. as you know after that gives the below error and existing Jenkins build job:!proget1_Capture.PNG!

 Hi Sir Mr Andrew Sumner, Actually my customer requirement is changed now. Now my customer wants to package and publish my artifact .7z file as a .nupkg file not as a .unpack extension file in to the Proget site. So it will be a Nuget package and not a Universal package. For this requirement can I still use the Inedo-Proget plugin? Because in default Inedo plugin create a .upack file no? Thanks Amila

 Hi Mr.   [~andrewsumner] sorry for the late reply, I'm getting the same error after your requested code change as well.  But I had a doubt with my uploading file (financialscripts.7z) size because after creating "JenkinsPackage.upack" file it has almost 58 mb in size.  Please see the below screenshot.  !Capture.PNG|width=314,height=212,thumbnail! {color:#0747a6}So what I did is instead of financialscripts.7z file I used a small .txt file to upload which only has 3 mb of data and it uploaded successfully to proget site. {color}So I'm 100% sure the issue is {color:#de350b}with the size of "JenkinsPackage.upack" file{color} which includes financialscripts.7z with almost 58 mb of data.Also there are no any Firewall issues between Jenkins and Proget.  Yes Jenkins build (workspace) happening in Jenkins's builder node (agent). I hope these information will help you. How can I sort out this filesize issue and is there any limitation of file size when uploading files into Proget [~andrewsumner] ?Thanks,Amila

 Hi all,I'm having declarative pipeline in my Jenkinsfile code.  I changed my Jenkinsfile code as below, because I wanted to archive my artifact file by using Inedo ProGet plugin into my Proget site.   I already configured Proget in Jenkins with API key and installed the plugin. I have added the ProGet API Key settings into the Jenkins' system config settings and it's testing the connection successfully.  !image-2020-02-20-08-24-40-897.png!        *{color:#0747a6}Below is the code change I added in my Jenkinsfile.{color}* !image-2020-02-20-08-02-45-754.png!So as above script underline shows the way I'm getting my build artifact's Version Number. Also below is the new *{color:#0747a6}.upack{color}* Package file I'm creating with the PackageName "{color:#0747a6}JenkinsPackage.upack{color}" for the purpose of upload to the Proget site.    !image-2020-02-20-08-19-00-759.png! But here the issue I'm facing is when I'm running my build job and it's not success and failing the Proget Upload command with below error log message from Console-Output. !image-2020-02-20-08-21-46-822.png!  {color:#d24939} Please anyone assist me on this ?  What's the issue I'm having here, what blocking me to uploading my package file into Proget site ?{color}

 Hi Mr.   [~andrewsumner], * My Current Jenkins Version - [Jenkins ver. 2.220|https://jenkins.io/]  * Jenkins ProGet Plugin Version -  1.3  * ProGet application  -  Version 5.2.24 (Build 6)I don't think file size will be a problem here because my package file (JenkinsPackage.upack) size is just 58 mb.also is there any issue with the way I'm getting the $FINANCIALVERSION number here?  Because I'm using a customize version number instead of using ${BUILD_NUMBER} as version. .

 Hi Andrew Sumner,       Actually my customer requirement is changed now. Now my customer wants to package and publish my artifact .7z file as a .nupkg file not as a .unpack extension file in to the Proget site .So it will be a Nuget package and not a Universal package. For this req requirement can I still use the Inedo-Proget plugin? Because in default Inedo plugin create a .upack file no? Thanks Amila

 i Andrew Sumner it's seems like uploading my JenkinsPackage.upack package file including .7z file inside into the Proget site.  It's actually uploaded. But after uploading Jenkins gives  504: Gateway Time-out error message and existing my Jenkins build job with that error.  Please see below screenshots.  actually my artifact uploaded to proget correctly but its taking more than 5 minutes to upload to the proget site and that's where I'm getting the 504 error. Because I noticed even after I got the Jenkins Console output error I have to wait another 5 minutes to get the uploaded file in Proget site. as you know after that gives the below error and existing Jenkins build job:

 hi Andrew Sumner my concern is when I'm uploading a 3 mb .txt file the plugin is working but when I'm uploading 58 mb .7z file its giving this bad gateway error. So if it's not a file size issue is it an issue with .7z file extension  ?  I'm sure it's not an network issue. In the mean time I will try to set up the UPack CLI tool.  Amila

  Re: Inedo ProGet plugin when uploading Package file to proget I'm getting 504 Gateway Time-out Error

 Hi Andrew Sumner sorry for the late reply, I'm getting the same error after your requested code change as well.  But I had a doubt with my uploading file (financialscripts.7z) size because after creating "JenkinsPackage.upack" file it has almost 58 mb in size.  Please see the below screenshot.    So what I did is instead of financialscripts.7z file I used a small .txt file to upload which only has 3 mb of data and it uploaded successfully to proget site.  So I'm 100% sure the issue is with the size of "JenkinsPackage.upack" file which includes financialscripts.7z with almost 58 mb of data. Also there are no any Firewall issues between Jenkins and Proget.  Yes Jenkins build (workspace) happening in Jenkins's builder node (agent). I hope these information will help you. How can I sort out this filesize issue and is there any limitation of file size when uploading files into Proget Andrew Sumner ? Thanks, Amila

 Hi all,I'm having declarative pipeline in my Jenkinsfile code.  I changed my Jenkinsfile code as below, because I wanted to archive my artifact file by using Inedo ProGet plugin into my Proget site.   I already configured Proget in Jenkins with API key and installed the plugin. I have added the ProGet API Key settings into the Jenkins' system config settings and it's testing the connection successfully. !image-2020-02-20-08- 10 24 - 02 40 - 266 897 .png!   *{color:#0747a6}Below is the code change I added in my Jenkinsfile.{color}* !image-2020-02-20-08-02-45-754.png!So as above script underline shows the way I'm getting my build artifact's Version Number. Also below is the new  *{color:#0747a6}  .upack {color}*  Package file I'm creating with the PackageName " {color:#0747a6} JenkinsPackage.upack {color} " for the purpose of upload to the Proget site.  !image-2020-02-20-08-19-00-759.png!But here the issue I'm facing is when I'm running my build job and it's not success and failing the Proget Upload command with below error log message from Console-Output. !image-2020-02-20-08-21-46-822.png!  {color:#d24939} Please anyone assist me on this ?  What's the issue I'm having here, what blocking me to uploading my package file into Proget site ?{color}

  Re: How to use a reference repository in an organization folder?

 Mark Waite sir thanks for your help now I'm using above option 01 in Jenkinsfile checkout step code and successfully skipping the Default Checkout from GIT-HUB URL.  Below is my new Jenkinsfile code after changes.   When I'm running a Build in Jenkins Pipeline for the first time only (rather than the first build any other build's Jenkins Console output doesn't show that keyword "Using reference repository".),  It's printing the "Using reference repository" statement in the Build's Jenkins Console Output (Jenkins log) as below.   Using reference repository: C:/Program Files (x86)/Jenkins/workspace/GIT_REF/WebPortals.git   But also in the Jenkins Console output log its printing as "Fetching upstream changes from remote URL" as well. So here my concern is Mr. Mark if we using the reference repository why Jenkins fetching source code still from GIT Remote repository URL ? Fetching upstream changes from g...@github.com:AmilaDevops/WebPortals.git   Below is the entire Jenkins Log Console Output for that build.    Mr. Mark Waite,  So here how can I make sure that Jenkins using my GIT Reference Repository successfully ?   Is my Jenkinsfile code (checkout: userRemoteConfigs section) for reference repository is okay?   Thanks & Best Regards,

  Re: How to use a reference repository in an organization folder?

 Thanks for the quick reply Mr. Mark Waite,  Yeah I'm also thought about your 1st option to have a separate checkout step with each reference folders in my Jenkinsfile.  So I already tested that 1st option in my test pipeline then I got an issue because then GIT-Plugin uses both checkout options and then its downloading source codes twice into my agent machine, because its using the default "Repository HTTPS URL" which I configured in Jenkins Configs as well.  You can see that default URL ("Repository HTTPS URL")  configuration in below last screenshot.         Jenkinsfile scm checkout option I added for Webportals.git reference repository. But also it's using below Jenkins configuration URL which I should configured in Jenkins (because if this url not provided my GIT webhooks are not working) which led Jenkins to automatically downloading the same Webportals.git repository into my Jenkins agent twice. If I didn't include that "Repository HTTPS URL" in Jenkins Configurations  it will not good for trigger my webhooks I guess because in default Jenkins always searching this URL for connect with the GIT-Hub Repository's  actions (PR) and push triggers. So Mr Mark my concern is how to got with your above Option 01 (Jenkinsfile checkout stage which I love to go with) in this Situation?  Hope you understand my problem here sir ?

 Hello [~markewaite] , sorry for the late in reply Sir. (just because I was in weekend holidays) . My defect/issue is still there. So regarding the question you asked I would like to have the Second option that you mentioned above. *2.*  "*Define the reference repository in the organization folder and use a [combined repository|https://plugins.jenkins.io/git#combining-repositories] that includes the content from all the repositories in the organization*" But in my GIT-Hub organization I should use the +*"_Townsuite_"* folder as the reference folder+ then inside that "_Townsuite_" folder there are 15 different Repository folders I have.  Such as WebPortals.git folder, Financial.git folder  etc. So my concern is how you going to referenced the "_Townsuite_" folder for all these 15 different repositories in the Configurations of my GIT-HUB Organization folder _(_which is _Townsuite_ folder_)_ !image-2020-02-09-09-11-01-619.png!_my sincere thanks and best wishes for you regarding my question Mr. Marc Waite._

 Hi there,I'm going to set up a GIT-HUB reference repository for Jenkins where I can reduce the disk sace and network bandwidth.  So I read all in [Jenkins GIT Plugin|[https://plugins.jenkins.io/git]]  and according to that I have setup my configurations as below.  !image-2020-02-07-07-31-31-024.png!But here my Jenkins pipelines created as a GIT-HUB Organization Job (as you can see above) where I have multiple repositories under the "_Townsuite_" folder.  So I have referenced each repositories in Jenkins Master server, as example I have  WebPortals.git repo folder referenced in /var/lib/jenkins/gitcache/TownSuite/{color:#ff}WebPortals.git{color}. So my problem is when I'm going to mention the reference path in my Jobs' *configuration > GITHUB Organization > Advanced clone behaviours* I cannot give the reference repositories folder path for each Repository folder location as per my Jenkins master server's folder path, because I'm using the _GIT-HUB Organization pipeline_ Job which I have "_Townsuite_" folder as the GitHub Organization Folder.  !image-2020-02-07-07-39-59-823.png!So as above only I can edit or save is the "_Townsuite_" folder configurations only but inside "Townsuite" folder I have serveral different repositories such as WebPortals.git.!image-2020-02-07-07-44-43-597.png!  So, My Problem is  I cannot give those reference paths because those sub folder *configurations* are NOT editable they READ-ONLY and cannot save. !image-2020-02-07-07-49-35-906.png! So I hoe you guys understand my problem and because of this issue I cannot use the reference repository option for each repositories.  Is there any thing I can modify in Jenkinsfile code to over come this issue ?   or how can I give my Reference folder path correctly and How can I SAVE it ?

 Please see the below cron job I created with passing a parameter string (publishPath=WebPortals) when automatically running the job 1.     !1.PNG|width= 709 1339 ,height= 26 49 ! Then below is my stage that I using a choice plugin to make a default (fake) user input as a value of that parameter publishPath="WebPortals"  to automatically select without a user input from outside, when running the above cron scheduled job.  2.  !2.PNG|width=756,height=271! So is that possible ?

 Hi all, I'm using Windows 10 slave node server as my Jenkins agent and my Master Jenkins server (which Jenkins insatalled) is a Linux server.  I have implemented GIT reference Repository feature for the purpose of lower my network bandwidth.  So I have created a reference repository in my Windows node  by using the git command `git clone --mirror https://github.com/AmilaDevops/WebPortals.git`  and it creates the WebPortals.git inside like this.       Then I made my Jenkinsfile declarative pipeline's code changes as below to checkout from Reference Repo not from the Remote repo.   I have added my Jenkins pipeline configurations also as below.        But my question is I'm getting my Jenkins console output as below. It's saying still fetching from the Remote GIT repository instead

 hi Federico Pellegrin  actually here what I want is exclude this Dapper Packages (which is Dapper.dll)  from generating my  NunitFast Code coverage reports.  eg: So I changed my code as you suggested.  But after I include  -excludebyfile or -filter like below to exclude Dapper packages I'm getting zero Code coverage output in NunitFast unit test reports. my new code is below:

.$Opencover\OpenCover.Console.exe -target:"$NUNIT\nunit3-console.exe" -targetargs:".\Tests\NunitFast\NUnitTestsFast\$CONFIGURATION\net47\ServiceTestFast.dll -excludebyfile:-[Dapper*] --result=.\Tests\NunitFast\upstream-corewebservice-nunit-result.xml" -output:".\Tests\NunitFast\opencover-upstream-corewebservice-nunit-result.xml" -register:"user"

 even I tried with -filter option as well but I'm still get the below results which is zero output, I think these filtering options are only for exclude class or methods, but here we going to exclude an entire package (Dapper.dll),  so is that why I'm getting below crazy out-put ?   Could you suggest something new Federico Pellegrin ? Thanks  !

So when generating my unit tests Code-Coverage reports how can I exclude those dll files?Is their any code to exclude dll files in here?  Such as when I running my RunTests.ps1 script for unit testing can I add some code to exclude dapper.dll file in below code ? {color:#ff} This example is not worked. :({color:#172b4d}Normal Code:{color}  {color}{code:java}.$Opencover\OpenCover.Console.exe -target:"$NUNIT\nunit3-console.exe" -targetargs:".\Tests\NunitFast\NUnitTestsFast\$CONFIGURATION\net47\ServiceTestFast.dll --result=.\Tests\NunitFast\upstream-corewebservice-nunit-result.xml" -output:".\Tests\NunitFast\opencover-upstream-corewebservice-nunit-result.xml" -register:"user"  {code} {color:#ff}    {color}    {color:#172b4d}Code I want for Exclude dapper.dll:{color}{code:java}.$Opencover\OpenCover.Console.exe -target:"$NUNIT\nunit3-console.exe" -targetargs:".\Tests\NunitFast\NUnitTestsFast\$CONFIGURATION\net47\ServiceTestFast.dll --exclude dapper.dll --result=.\Tests\NunitFast\upstream-corewebservice-nunit-result.xml" -output:".\Tests\NunitFast\opencover-upstream-corewebservice-nunit-result.xml" -register:"user"  {code}

 [~fedepell]  Hi mate how are you?I have tested this your second solution, by using [code-coverage-api-plugin|https://github.com/jenkinsci/code-coverage-api-plugin] I able to generate 04 different reports. So I renamed my Cobertura.xml file by 04 different names in each stage's Post build section in my Jenkins file.  Like below, {code:java}publishCoverage adapters: [coberturaAdapter(path: '**/build/Tests/NunitFast/NUnitTestsSlow_Test_Report.xml')]{code} *  Below is the my output:  !image-2019-12-04-06-12-09-697.png!!image-2019-12-04-06-13-35-714.png!  Its It's really better output than my previous reports.  Thank you for that.  So do you know how to rename the Title of the reports ?  Because it showing my .xml file name as the report heading. eg:!image-2019-12-04-06-15-47-865.png!

 [~fedepell]  Thanks for the reply. Before try the second option I have a question about your first option - (Merging all 4 different Cobertura.xml files into a one file)So here I'm using 4 Cobertura.xml files but in different 4 locations as well;  such as for *NunitFast* test the location is '/build/Tests/*NunitFast*/Cobertura.xml'.   For *NunitSlow* test the location is   *  * *  '**/build/Tests/*NunitSlow*/Cobertura.xml'  like that. If you could open the below attached my entire Jenkinsfile  you will see it. So in that case how could I merge those 4 files in 4 different folder locations as per your given code above ?{code:java}step([$class: 'CoberturaPublisher', coberturaReportFile: '**/build/Tests/**/Cobertura.xml']){code}So am I correct here or you may aware about that situation before ?  Sorry, I couldn't tell you that before that I'm having 4 different folder locations for Cobertura.xml.
