Perhaps there is but I can't find it. I even tried removing my cookies, and it still remembered the new sort. The sorting by columns makes little sense here, and the resulting table is confusing when the sort is applied. When the job is viewed from its view, it keeps the sort. If it is viewed in the global (all) view, the original default sort is applied. This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
