If you do can you please email supp...@perforce.com so I take this discussion offline. With Perforce getting the jenkinsfile and getting the source should be two seperate steps for best control. Therefore I think redesigning the job to disable implicit checkout ( 'options { skipDefaultCheckout() }' in the Jenkinsfile) and use an explicit checkout or sync step in the Jenkinsfile with the exclusion is the solution.
