For future users: if you run into the error 'Client does not have
permissions to send as this sender', simply go to the Jenkins 'configure'
page and set the system admin e-mail address to be the e-mail address that
you use to authenticate to Office 365.

I have heard that JAVA by default doesn't support TLS. Also,Jenkins doesn't
pass the argument TLS to JAVA. This makes TLS support not applicable.
