You can use
(undefinstance *)
to remove all definstances. There is currently no undeffacts function
but one is slated to be added for Jess 7.

Is there a flag which can be set so that (reset) command
removes all the general stuff it removes and does not assert definstance facts?
I want the rules to remain in the rule engine and only all
the facts should be removed (even deffacts and
definstance facts also).
