You need the php-gd and php-snmp RPMs.
Once those are installed check that your php.ini's (you will have more than 1)

Hey all,
What would be placing a limitation on the number of interfaces that
can be aggregated for 'Traffic' graphing?
Depending on what device I am graphing interfaces on, no graph gets
displayed when I reach between 44 and 48 interfaces.
How can I troubleshoot this further? (the aggregate .da
Thanks Aaron.
It will be good if some users tried it too.
I'll put this in my pending queue for 0.8.3

It seems like that was the problem - as soon as I commented it out
interfaces started getting polled.
On a side note, here's a patch that should allow the latest RRD
version to work with JFFNMS (it seems the only incompatibility is
Hi,
If you set the correct SNMP community and version, clicking on "Manual
Discovery" (from the drop down menu) should show you all the discovered
interfaces.

hey all,
i'm a bit behind on reading list traffic, so please excuse me if this
has been covered previously:
we're running a generic apache name based virtual hosting server, one
host, about 10 websites. we monitor the host port 80, as well as content
monitor port 80 for most of the websites.
I appreciate your email but is way too much and some of the contents are not even readable.[EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Jim,
In 0.8.2 we are using the internal PHP snmp2_ functions if they are available.
So if you upgrade to PHP 4.3.1 or 5.0.4 (I think) (The latest) you will have the
snmp2_ functions and JFFNMS 0.8.2 will use them.

We are running jffnms 0.8.1 and are experiencing high server
utilization due to the large number of snmpv2 interfaces we monitor.
I remember a while back it was mentioned that this had to do with the
way jffnms is doing these calls...has this problem been fixed in the
new version? Thanks.

Greetings all,
I was tracking down a "no utilization graphs" issue of my own but I
seem to be having non-rrd related problems.
My interfaces seem to no-longer be polled.
Here is the Host config for one device (note the current last-polled
date and very short duration - this box has hundreds of i

Nagios does this with the -S flag in check_http. I'm not sure if PHP
has a good enough crypto library to do things like certificate checking.

Hi,
When evaluate JFFNMS (0.8.1), I have some difficults to use it ... but
after hours it seem to be a very good product.
But, I have found 2 problems :
1- *IP adress field* is too short for put hostname (like
briot143.dyndns.doguet.com).
2- *Users Triggers* : Add triggers to use
