Re: Need Medical Dictionary for Customer

Hi, Julio. As I posted before, the Stedman's Medical Dictionary is the best as
far as spelling goes. There is no learning curve as you can integrate it with
your word processor's spellchecker. If you have any further questions, you can

I'd like to know more about this one. What is it? I probably could always
use more than what I have. Will it add onto another medical spell-checker?

Stacy.

doug if your purpose is medical transscription, try the alki add on.

it adds 70,000 correct spellings to word.

you must realize when buying that the alki product is specific to the version
of word, and best of all it requires no learning curve.

one simpley uses the word spell checker in normal manner.

Re: Need Medical Dictionary for Customer

1999-05-24 Thread MARSHA MACCHI

Hi, Marsha here. As a medical ranscriptionist, I use Stedman's Medical
Dictionary in conjunction with Corel WordPerfect. Though this is a speller,
the customer should get the gist of what is needed. Many doctors mumble
somewhat more than I personally would care for and the Stedman's Medical
Speller might be what your customer might need to help in the job.

Re: Need Medical Dictionary for Customer

1999-05-24 Thread Stacy Smith

May I corgially suggest the Stedman's Medical Dictionary. I tried
Dorland's which turned out to be an absolute mess. The Windows version
seems to work fine. Call William's and Wilkens at: 1-800-527-5597. Good
luck.
