Re: Some of updated Strava heatmap imagery link incorrect
It is a wiki. You just need a JOSM Trac account to edit it. I have updated it. Some of updated Strava heatmap imagery link incorrect
I joined the mailing list because I'm hoping it's the correct way of trying to find a solution to a 'one off' error. josm supplies imagery for several types of Strava heatmaps. Strava updated the maps on 1st November, and on 2nd Novermber the links withing josm where updated. But the change has an error in. I think this is the page that describes how the change was made https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Maps?action=diff=489 But change appears incorrect because the link for the Cycling Heatmap uses the word "bike" but the Strava now has changed and uses the word "ride" The result is that when you use try to use the Cycling Heatmap within josm using the incorrect link, Stava defaults and supplies the "All" heatmap, which is the heatmap for Cycling, Running, Skying, etc. Was able to fix this within josm by editing the link, but not sure how to advise a change is needed on the official josm website. Client side testing
Hi Vincent, I noticed that JOSM have been commended in the last two Quality reports [1] [2] for the number and indeed the quality of bugs you have found and logged against various early access releases. Thanks again for your contribution to the quality of our releases! The big question is how do you do it ? We would love to hear more details about your test environment, what tests you run etc. Below is a series of questions that come to mind, but there may be other details that you would like to share. 1. Builds 1. do you build your own OpenJDK builds, use Oracle's or other EA builds ? 2. Tests 1. What tests do you run 1. do you run the JCK ? 2. open regression tests ? 3. other tests ? 4. do you measure code coverage ? 2. Are the tests Automated or Manual ? 3. How frequently to do execute the tests 4.
