Hi,
I seem to have broken the JOSM wiki and need the help of an admin to fix it.
I made a new JOSM mapcss style file called 'Surface - Data Entry' which is
a paint style designed to aid in entering surface tags on roads from aerial
imagery. I created a subpage of the 'Styles' page on the wiki
Thanks for doing the rename. The name isn't the prettiest, but it will
work fine. It is far more important that it actually functions than what
the name looks like (which users will never really see anyway).

I have noticed a bit of weirdness related to this as well. There are
two main issues that I have seen in this dialog:
1) The logic to determine when a layer needs uploading seems to mark
it as requiring upload very frequently, but then if you cancel out of
the dialog and press the upload button
The only way I can think of would be to just not use the 'remember
password' option and then have them type name/password on uploads.

(unlike your screenshot) do not make this specific to the name:** field,
but rather just have all the keys for the tags displayed directly on the
top. This could then be useful for other editing as well. Not sure I can
think of

I really don’t understand how one can even think of *not* to include
these names in the name tag.
I think the confusion comes from the issue of what is signed on the ground,
vs what is merely a translation of the signed

I don't know how this could be improved. I did some thinking about this
issue, but I cannot think of anything else apart from a strictly tabular
way like I did in my mockup.
The tabular way was exactly what I was
someone in to better
reproduceability.

Wow, that is handy. Seems like after years of using josm I am still
learning nifty little tricks like this.
Should be pretty easy to extend this to middle click if the base
functionality is already there I would expect (although I don't know
