Well what I am actually trying to do is a little more complex buy I just gave a basic example when I posted the question. I am actually putting an embed code in one tab and in another tab there is also embed code. When I switch from one tab to the other it refreshes the embed code. So if I

Just an update. I've "fixed" the first issue with the tabs by not calling a #container and instead making that an ajax call too. Cheating a little bit, I know but at least it works now. With regards to the second problem. After reading a bit more, it seems I need to use Hijax to keep the externa
