Re: [Juggle] Fluggleburgh planning

2024-07-02 Thread Christian Kästner
Sure, Sunday is fine. An earlier walkthrough might be good if we can then
confirm and announce the date. Earlier is better I think to coordinate with
the Cleveland and Kingston festivals.

Best regards,
Christian

How about a kick off planning meeting this Sunday during juggle club? Would
5pm be a good middle ground between the late-comers and the early birds? If
not, please reply ALL with your preferred time this Sunday (or another time
this week?)

I'm also trying to book a walk-thru meeting with the Kingsley Assoc.
facilities manager. I'm thinking August 26 at 6pm. If anyone is super
anxious to get a walk thru sooner, let me know and maybe I can help
facilitate that. If Monday early evening doesn't work for you, let me know
a better time M-F that you'd prefer.

Happy juggles!

Re: [Juggle] Fluggleburgh planning

2024-06-26 Thread Lara Haha
ORyan has confirmed availability Nov 1-3, and already has a potential
out-of-town act lined up for us!

Karny has offered to create a new flyer, and Christian provided historic
materials.

I will spin up a schedule poll ASAP for us to have a formal planning
meeting.

We will still need to create a 1-2 pager about Fluggleburgh for the
Kingsley Association, our new venue/hosts. I can likely draft this, but
will wait until we meet so I have all the talking points etc.

*Classes at Kingsley (Weds 1pm):*
Jia Ji and ORyan are both available to help Lex teach next Wednesday July
3. I'll create a separate group conversation for that.

Christian has offered to possibly teach on a Thurs/Fri (if anyone wants to
team up, let him/me know). I will reach out and ask if that's an option. If
we can do a Friday, I might be able to go as well and teach hoops.

Jesse is potentially available to teach July 24. If anyone wants to partner
with him, let him/me know.

I think 2 classes is solid, but if we offer 3 I'm sure they would love it.

Lex and I are happy to loan out our "Play Zone" toys, which includes hula
hoops, lots of balls, kid-sized clubs, squeaky toys etc. We just ask that
you do your best to make sure kiddos don't walk off with stuff (but also
this just happens sometimes so no big deal). We also have a bag full of
tennis balls (half filled with water) that kids can keep.

Let me know if you have any other questions, comments etc
