Specifying bootstrap machine agent details using ip address

Hi, I am new to juju. I was following https://jujucharms.com/docs/stable/config-manual document to do manual provisioning. While configuring environment.yaml, instead of specifying hostname for bootstrap-host, is there a mechanism to specify IP address of the machine ?. Please let me know
