Thank you all so very much for the help. Now, I can learn more Julia without bothering everyone all the time :) On Saturday, May 3, 2014 4:09:56 AM UTC+6, Nafiul Islam wrote: > > Hi (again)! > > Hopefully a (slightly) more intelligent question this time. I've been > succ

Great Idea. I live in Bangladesh, so I might be one in a handful of people who're actually using Julia (or even playing around with it for that matter). So, would anyone be interested in a hangout? I'd love to learn more, because right now my skills aren't the best :( On Tuesday, April 29, 2014

Erm, what I meant to say was "Touting Julia's Math Chops might give people that this is the only thing Julia is good for. This is not true, I can imagine Julia fitting well for my other needs as well (namely network stuff)". On Thursday, May 1, 2014 5:57:23 PM UTC+6, Nafiul Isla

Hi there guys! I'm brand new to Julia, but I'm super excited about its prospects. The truth is, I can't seem to stop myself from playing around with it. It seems as though you've combined all the good stuff I liked in Haskell and Scala with the ease of use that I get with Python. Right now, I'
