Hi,
There must be probably other (old) plugins which will not work anymore
with OpenJUMP 1.6. Developers of external plugins should be aware of
this and make the relative modifications (I did it on my very small
developing activities)

Concave hull works now (Ubuntu Linux 12.04-OpenJDK 6) . I probably did a
mistake on first setup.
