I have always recommended people to download from the nightly builds.
Now when they are at Sourceforge could it be possible to get statistics
of those downloads as well?

downloads. The platform independent zip file (offered about 1 week
earlier) has 1119 downloads by now.

user lists (I rounded downwards):
