May be you may understand me better if I tell how I am building
my openjump application.
I created a JUMPWorkbench object then i passed it into a JUMPWorkbenchcontext
object. I used accessor methods like getworkbenchframe, getToolbar to access
some components like the

- add your plugins by changing JumpConfiguration.java or
OpenJUMPConfiguration.java
- use a properties file (xml)
- build your own plugin extension
