Hi,
thanks for your answer so far.
You then need to define a route-distinguisher, and route targets (or
simply vrf-target under the VRF) to import/export the routes for this
VPN from other PEs.
Can you provide an example for that? That would be a L3VPN, right? Why
Jeff,
This isn't typically something that can be described in just a few short
emails, as there are so many ways to do things. However, that said, here is a
short sample config for an L3VPN VRF:
j...@br01. show configuration routing-instances
VPN.TEST {
instance-type vrf;
interface

One of my customer is using M20 as GGSN in their GSM network.
They had two RE and Primary RE got HW problem so they unplugged it
from Router. Now they have got their replacement HW from JTAC.
What would be the procedure to adding New RE to GGSN (M20)
without interrupting service? JUNOS version of
The management VPN configuration is for example going to be like the
following:
mgmt {

interface lo0.110;
vrf-export mgmt-export-policy;

Hi folks.
I'm wondering if the J2320 or other J series routers can act as an access
concentrator for PPPOE clients? According to the docs it appears this
platform can only act as a PPPOE client but looking to confirm.
Thanks,

Hello!
The GGSN RE in a J20 (it is not a M20 ;-) is not running standard JUNOS.
It is JUNOS + Ericsson software module handled by Ericsson. So you need
to be running this special JUNOS version controlled by Ericsson and
get it from them. Dont download a JUNOS from Juniper homepage and use
that,
*Thinks* Hopefully the under mentioned helps if I didn't make any
mistake. Ha !
Ensure your new routing engine has all the necessary storage space
Do a snapshot on your GGSN box
Use the primary RE to do the upgrading on the secondary RE by
specifying the engine slot
