[k-9-mail] Disappearing Notifications

I have several email accounts configured in K-9 and for the last several months the notifications for several of them have been appearing for several seconds and then clearing themselves. This issue has spanned across two different phones (LG-V30 and LG-G7 ThinQ) and has happened whether I set

[k-9-mail] Clear Android notification when all emails have been read
