If the K-9 settings are identical for all three accounts, then I'd
double check the settings for the account on the server itself.

It sounds to me that the problem is that you're sending an email to an
address without an FQDN (which your SMTP server is rejecting), *not* that
your SMTP server details are wrong. Hence the stack-trace concerns sending
a specific message and it's not throwing an error in the SMTP settings.
You're looking for the push e-mail setting which uses IMAP IDLE.

deciding what to set as the To address.
