It's likely that
First, you do not need to source BUILD_ENVIRONMENT at all. This is
only for testing kaffe without installing at; this is only possible
with some highly fragile automake magic.
You don't have to source anything to debug kaffe; setting KAFFE_DEBUG
is sufficient.
Second, Sun's jdb doesn't run
