I use AnyJ (http://www.netcomputing.de )
it is very fast, it has many good features.
Its free for linux.

I've recently gotten into Borland's JBuilder for Linux. (ok ok they're
really Imprise but what can I say ... )
Runs under the *gasp* other guy's 1.2.2 JDK rather well. First IDE in
