Can kate do auto-replacement? I don't mean auto-completion, but something
along the lines of bash aliasing. If activated in the windows text editor I
used, pressing any word boundary key caused the editor to check the
immediately preceding word against its abbreviations list and replace any

A little update on the KDEPIM situation. Kontact sort of works now, but it
feels slower than before. Even changing between Kontact's different modules
is slower now. I think about not using Kontact at all, but its individual
