I do not try to undermine the survey (haven't seen it actually). But the
"Details" pane currently shows the MAC address, which is arguably more
technical and less useful than the DNS server IP.

I verified that changing XkbHelper::preInitialize to not do anything fixes the
ibus-daemon trouble, at least as far as automatically starting it on launch is
concerned.
