Can confirm, this is related to the graphics tablet. I unplugged its HDMI cable
from the DVI<-->HDMI adapter plugged into my PC, then logged out, and since
then the UI has been normal.

Premik said that the last pixels take too long to scroll. That's the effect of

when the dock is appear or disappear, there is a flash occuping the lower end
of the screen, i reckon the more severe bug is when i add a panel the dock
instantly hangs

Correction, the actual patch should be:
sed -i -e 's/cortex-a8/generic-armv7-a/g' Makefile.all.am
There's no need for the fpu selection to be specified as generic-armv7-a
defaults to vfpv3-d16.
