This would appear to be an issue with Arch/Manjaro/other arch based distros
then, since I also tried the AppImage, and it works fine. Should contact the
maintainers about that.

Strange, both 4.2.5 (release) and 4.3.0 prealpha (master) don't work for me,
running Plasma 5.16.4 and Qt 5.13.0. Using the packages from Arch Linux's
repository.
