An offline help browser is opened on my machine. No idea why it tries to open a
link for you, but I'll see if I can find out what's going on.

Works for me, even when setting LANG=it_IT.utf-8. It opens a local help file
instead of online documentation.
Not sure why behavior is different for you. Which distribution are you using?
